What is the priority in creative acts? Is it the audience or the creator?

Should we ask whom? How blurred is the distinction between audience and creator?

Or should we ask how? What is the process of unblurring this distinction?

It is an imponderable distinction, as most are upon close analysis — these questions are ones that we can only answer with stipulative descriptions

Herein, we start by saying that the creator and the audience dissolve in the creative act and re-assemble in the creative person.

What is a Creative Act?

Asking “whom” shifts the focus to the individual or entity responsible for the creative act. This perspective highlights the importance of the creator’s unique perspective, experiences, and personal vision.

It acknowledges that creative works often reflect the artist’s or creator’s inner world, emotions, thoughts, and perceptions. By prioritizing the “whom,” we delve into the individual’s motivations, inspirations, and personal experiences that led to the creative expression.
